Successful BB draft Saturday. Ecstatic over it. Everything went well (except for laptop difficulties – this must be my yr for comp trouble).
Eyes not w*rking well 2day so millstone post will have to wait just a bit longer. Or maybe not; we'll see… (he said optimistically (n' perhaps ophthalmologically as well…))

thx – it's an ongoing process
laptop OS install went all wonky; w*rked okay for my draft (did I mention it was a fabulous draft? it was!) but it's gotta be scraped n' redone from scratch, preferably by someone at least a tad more familiar with it than me (my first install on a laptop)
this sys hasn't crashed (&/or burned, fingers crossed) lately but it still ain't right …if I could see better, I could spend more time on it but I don't know that that would help any – I don't have any real idea wtf is wrong with it …ain't nuthin' overtly kerflooie* anyplace that I can find but things like the AV & Internet Explorer keep flakin' out n' they ain't supposed to do that …weird, low-probability fixes have seemingly improved but not necessarily solved the probs …it's a mystery…

yes n' no – major improvement over the piece of garbage I been sufferin' through fer most of the past decade, but it's got its own little quirks I am by no means used to as of yet; lighting & even color will shift depending on the angle of view (admittedly moreso at steeper angles, but still…!) n' that ain't exackly conducive (n' certainly not optimal) to succesfully manipulatin' graphics…
